Does Esim stay after factory reset in s21 plus

Is activating the esim worth it? And does it stay even after factory reset? And will it be affected if I update my device via smart switch?

Its a virtual sim which is given as a qr code when you buy it. You have to scan that and it will become your sim

Esim remains intact unless you delete it yourself from settings. My phone crashed, i installed os with smartswitch n odin, esim was still there
