It's been more than a month 😞 I raised a green line issue on display with Samsung S22. I contacted customer care regarding this, visited the service center multiple times for multiple inspections 🧐 had spoken multiple calls with customer care regarding the issue.After multiple long calls, Finally they conneted me to the Samsung HQ india regarding this. Even they took some logs from the device, after that its been more than 10 to 15 days still no reply from them. I wrote multiple mails to the concerned person Mr.X who is handling my issue. No reply from him. Tried calling customer care and requestd for a callback from Mr.X and again there is no calls or reply. Can i know what's really happening. Is there anyone in Samsung customer care who really care? 😒

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they just extend the screen replacement policy till 30th December 2024.

If your phone is under 3yrs old with no physical or liquid damage and you've invoice of your purchase then you're eligible for free screen replacement, you only have to pay Labour charges.

I opted for the same on 14th October and got my phone repaired in 1 weeks time by paying just 413₹

Hi Sungkd... an u share the details of the update and tge screeshot of your free replacement .. for me there is no update for screen replacement from samsun customer care until oct 30 2024..i have been following themfor the green issue . i have been a victim of the green line on my s22 and been treated very badly by customercare and was told its samsung policy to not give free screen replacent after 1 year warranty and asked to go for a paid screen replacement for 11 k , for thw samsungs faulty hardware issue... and also this green line xannot be repaired... so anyone facing the issue dont waste time listening to samsung members and their false hopes pleaee go file ur compliant in consumer helpline after creating job sheet...

I don't have a post link this what was informed to me by the employees at the service centre. I have attached the invoice which I got after the repair. Just FYI it's not false hope. This happened with me too, yes I had to drop e-mails to support, chat on WhatsApp support finally getting them to admit that they'll replace it. By the time I reached the service centre for replacement they said the policy is extended.

@sungkd.. i am not accusing u.. but yes the samsung customercare... and the bill which u have attached doesnt show the details of spare.. if u have receiced a free dispaly repalcement , name of the dispaly , service and cost of the display will be mentioned and will be shown as deducted when it comes to discount column which show that its free... in urs its blank... please find the attached bill of a customer who got free replacement . I hope this helps.. i am just helping and guiding customers who has faced tgis issue.. i know the mental pressure ,after buying a phone for high price which u plan to use for more than 3 years and after 1 year dace the issue of green line and bee treatwd by customer care very badly... so this is only for those who has faced similar issue..

You're right! I didn't notice that on my bill. I gotta ask them why is this. Thanks for informing, but nevertheless this is what I got after the replacement and it's too long ago. I submitted my phone on 14th Oct, 2024 and they gave me back on 19th Oct, 2024.

I think you should visit the service centre once again or probably contact samsung support and customer care to escalate your issue.

@sungkd.. i have done all possible ways .. called customer care multiple times and esclated only to hear tge same thing from different people in different styles, vusited samsung service center as per thier instructions which is far from my place, where tgey asked me to pay 11.5 k ..i have created a job sheet after inspecting my phone.. everyone says the same thing that as per samsung policy , they will not give free scree replacement for green line after 1 year warranty... so am tired and hence thereason for the frustration in my posts 😊.. so after going through this samsung memebers forum i understood iam not alone and there are 700+ customers with the same issue and also got information from one customer that they got free replacement after filing compliant in consumer helpline after 24 hrs... so i hace registered my compliant , waiting for the update.. and will share in this forum once i get justice 👏

**bleep** that's really sad! And you're absolutely right you're not alone. When I visited the service centre there were 20+ people with same issue, one guy had issue on his watch!! 🤦.
What's the point of buying expensive phone if you've to pay for their quality issues. I genuinely hope you get a free replacement as soon as possible.
Please keep us updated on your issue so others would know what to do.

Sure i will share the updates .. and yes u were right on the free replacement .. i called the servuce center and confirmed , they are giving free replacement for ONLY SELECTED devices like s22 ultra and s21 plus..
