Hello Samsung Team,

I am using a Galaxy S21 FE, and after the most recent software update, a green vertical line suddenly appeared on my phone’s display. The device was working perfectly fine before the update.

I am not the only one facing this — many of my friends and acquaintances who own Samsung devices (including S21 FE and other models) have reported the exact same issue right after updating their phones. This clearly seems like a widespread problem linked to the software update, not an isolated case of hardware failure.

This is very concerning because:

  • The display issue started immediately after the update.

  • Multiple users are affected, which points towards a possible software-induced hardware failure.

  • Display replacement costs are very high, and it is unfair for users to bear this when the problem seems to have originated from Samsung’s update.

I request Samsung to kindly:

  1. Officially acknowledge this issue.

  2. Provide a free or warranty-based display replacement program for all affected users.

  3. Ensure future updates are more stable and tested before rollout.

Samsung has always been trusted for its quality, but such problems seriously affect user confidence. Please look into this urgently.

But not for the model which was purchased over 3 years.
Dont you want your user to use samsung for long term.

Same problem has been faced by me. Company is covering free replacements only for the devices which are still in warranty. But what should be done by people like us?
