Has anyone changed the battery on their S7 Edge? (or any device up to the S9). I wanted to know the cost. The battery gives about 3 to 4 hours on-screen time. My phone runs fine and I don't really want to switch phones.

As per the site, 977 +GST.
You can even call your nearest Samsung Service center and ask about the price of the battery.

@SagarRawar27 Thanks bro. My local service center keep saying their servers are down. 977 + tax is a good deal.

It will be less than 2k with tax. However,I think 4 hours of SOT is fine considering the model. Earlier Samsung flagships used to get only around 5 hours SOT max.

It's ok when you're at home and you have 15W fast charging but when you're outdoors with 4G and max brightness the battery drains quickly.

What do you mean by being at home and having 15 watt charger?
I said even after changing it, you might still get only 5 hours max.

Oh sorry I was talking about my current situation with the old battery (I get 4 hours max). When this phone was new it lasted for a day with one charge, sometimes a day and a half. So I don't mind putting in a new battery.

Ok that one day is not screen on time(SOT) brother. That's the total usage time. SOT means the total time the screen was turned on. Typically Samsung flagships which last a complete day on full charge will have an SOT of only around 5 hours.
