I recently got my S25 Ultra and I'm trying to connect my 2TB WD My Passport HDD to it using a Dell multiport adapter, but it's not recognizing it! My 16GB pen drive works fine though 🤔

Any ideas how to enable it?

There's no update on the bug and I'm not able to mark or request for help there. Any update or assistant would be greatly appreciated. 😞💔

It's been 2 weeks. Is the tech team really working or sleeping?

I have a similar issue. I have a WD Elements 1tb portable hard drive, which I've been unsuccessfully been trying to connect to my S25 Ultra.  My old Note 8 connects perfectly, as does my Samsung tablet & two laptops - which suggests the issue lies with the phone.

Please advise what can be done to resolve the problem.

Ugh, after reviewing the logs by tech team, the power supply from S25 Ultra is apparently too weak for the HDD itseems! The tech team suggested an external power supply, but this HDD doesn't have that option! 😩

As per the bug report analysis, I was suggested to use an external power supply. I tried a workaround that worked! I connected my phone charger & HDD to the Dell adapter, then the adapter to my phone. Success! I could browse the HDD on my phone. 🎉
