Dear Samsung,
I have bought Samsung s21 fe (snapdragon version) 3 Days back and expecting to have good battery life but it looks like it has battery drain issue automatically.

1st Instance = I had 99% of battery charging in the night 11 PM IST and at 6 AM IST in the morning, It was 93% and internet was totally off but still battery charging got dropped to 7% which seems quite huge. Compare to another phone model (Vivo snapdragon 778g), Samsung is draining more than 5%.

2nd Instance = Another live example is while writing this problem statement battery drained 4%. I spend 15 mins and theme is dark and battery brightness is below 20%.

BATTERY DRAINING ISSUE BIG PROBLEM PLEASE CONSIDER THIS AS HIGH PRIORITY PROBLEM AND SEE IF YOU CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM.

Thanks,
Pankaj Kamthe

Wait for adaptive battery to do its job for a week. After that you'll get good backup

Same here man...bought the phone in the BBD sale for 32K (SD888, 256). I can't believe how this phone can drain this quickly with a big battery. Also, my device gets warm pretty quickly within 2-3min of usage. Don't know what exactly is the issue here.

I have turned ON every single software tweak available for better battery life, but it is still the same. Everyone keeps saying it will be normal in 1-2 weeks of usage, but I don't know if that's the case. I even wonder if my device battery is faulty or not, because I can literally see the battery percentage dropping by one percent every 3-4min of casual usage.

I really loved Samsung products in the past, but with this one, I'm really worried about the long term usage. It would be great if Samsung can acknowledge this as an issue so that at least we can expect a fix through a software update in the future.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue. However, we are taking your valuable feedback regarding this.

Charge in one go instead of charging many times as it affects the life span of the battery and battery performance

Perform Battery Optimization

Battery optimization helps you to boost the battery performance of your device. To check battery optimization:
Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care/Battery and device care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage, and Memory

Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, etc.
Turn off unused functions like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and location settings when not using them: On the home screen swipe down the notification panel > Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and other connectivity features when not using them.

Check device network fluctuation

Kindly check whether the mobile network fluctuates frequently or if the network signal is low in your area. In both cases, the battery will drain considerably fast.
Recommendation: We recommend you avoid using it in areas with low network/fluctuation.

Reduce display brightness level

Kindly set the device display brightness in auto mode (If available).

Adjust screen timeout settings: Settings > Display > Screen timeout > Select minimum screen timeout.

Check and update the App: Kindly check which application or interface is using more battery from device care. And try to update the app or avoid using that app.

Close background running apps
Close all the background running apps when not using them,

Turn off auto sync of e-mails, app data, etc.
We request you turn off the auto sync option, it will stop the synchronization of the device with the server & reduce the battery drainage.
The steps to turn off auto sync are:
1. Swipe down on the home screen to open the notification panel.
2. Turn off the auto sync option.

Update the software if available: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-update-software/

Reset your device: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-mobile-how-to-perform-a-factory-res...

In case the issue still occurs kindly visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
