See its summer time so almost every phone face this problem. I think you have bought your phone in winters so there is no big deal with the heating issue.
And about battery drain you should clear chace files from boot menu once after update or after 2 - 3 months.
To do so
1. Connect you device to and pc or laptop device with cable and turn off your phone.
2. Press Volume UP button and Power button simultaneously and release after vibration.
3. Go to wipe cache partition then go to yes. Using volume buttons to select and power button to enter.
4. After that go to reboot and press power button.
I think this will fix your problem.

You should report this through members app about your problem and they will suggest you best settings and care tips to fix this problem
