AMOLED lines-on-display after Software Update

Hi

Is it true that AMOLED displays are getting lines on display (green, blue, pink) on the very next day after getting a security update? 

This looks like a known issue across most of the phone brands like Samsung, OnePlus, OPPO with AMOLED Displays only. 

Is Samsung fixing it for free? Most of the service centres will charge ₹10k+ to get it fixed.

Not next day, i got it within 15 mins of updating the phone. As of now Note 20 and S20 are getting free replacement if phone passes the scratches, dent, water resistance test

Even iPhone have this issue on smaller scale

It looks like a virus to me. Through the brands themselves. It's like u have bought the product from us, we know u will use it for 3 to 4 years. In this time u r not coming to us. We are not getting money hence we r sending something good so that you come to us. Mind u only on Amoled screen.
