Green Line on S23 Ultra After One UI 7 Update – Shocking from a Flagship

I’ve been a loyal Samsung user and proud owner of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, purchased back in March 2023. But recently, just a few days after updating to One UI 7, a green line appeared on the displayout of nowhere.

This is highly disappointing for a flagship phone, especially because:

  • The device is only 2 years old.
  • It has never been dropped, mishandled, or exposed to water.
  • The issue showed up immediately after the software update.
  • The phone is now out of warranty, and repair/replacement is expected to cost a lot.

A premium device like this should not face such issues—especially one that represents the best of Samsung. I’ve come across several others reporting the same problem post-update, which points to a widespread issue.

Samsung, please acknowledge this and support your loyal customers. We shouldn’t have to pay for what seems like a hardware flaw triggered by a software update.

Samsung has accepted s21 series along with fe model for widespread screen issue, like green line, after software update. But In this case also service centres work hard to find a pretence for rejection.
It's disheartening if you get issues like this in most premium models of the brand.Mail the whole issue to service head and if you don't get any reply then report it to national consumer forum.

Yes, the S22 series is also acceptable, I think, but not the S23.

My s22 mobile display got Green line on 1st of Jan after software update out of warranty after repeated request samsung changed my mobile display free of cost samsung service center and samsung customer support don't provide free replacement open my galaxy app send email to Samsung care + you will get positive reply first you must get job card from Samsung service center you will get free replacement for your s23 ultra

Bro, they are Samsung, they don't listen to anyone. These idiots have gone mad. This is the best wayonly to boycott their phones and avoid taking their phones. They ruined their old series by giving such bad updates so that their new series can be sold as much as possible.
