Galaxy SHey Guys,
Recently after the December security patch, A green line appeared on my phone, and from what I've seen it's a pretty common issue that Samsung has acknowledged and is in the process of issuing free screen replacements for devices. I took my S22 to the repair Samsung center at Nellore only for them to tell me the Galaxy s22 is not covered under the screen replacement program and I would need to pay 11000+ to get it replaced. A bit frustrating cause It's been less than 2 years since I have been using the phone have never dropped it or had it fall into water. I've taken really good care of the phone with not a single scratch on it and with all these issues occurring due to manufacturer issues beyond my control, I am expected to pay quite a bit of money on top of what I have already paid for this "flagship" with it being one of the only ones not covered.
Super disappointed in Samsung right now as someone who switched their whole ecosystem to Samsung along with my phone and I want to see if there's a way we can push these other models to be included in the replacement program too. I am not paying close to 11000 (like half the phone's resale value) to replace my screen on the "flagship" and if Samsung customer support fails, this would probably be the last of Samsung for me. it's just generally very frustrating to use.
