Galaxy S*Software Compatibility*
1. *Region-specific software*: The S24 Ultra you purchased from the USA might have region-specific software that's not optimized for Indian 5G networks.
2. *Lack of Indian 5G band support*: Although the device supports compatible 5G bands, it's possible that the specific bands used by Jio in India are not enabled on your device.
*Hardware and Band Support*
1. *5G band support*: Verify that your S24 Ultra supports the 5G bands used by Jio in India. You can check the device's specifications or contact Samsung support to confirm.
2. *Hardware limitations*: Although unlikely, it's possible that the S24 Ultra's hardware is not fully compatible with Indian 5G networks.
*Troubleshooting Steps*
1. *Check for software updates*: Ensure your device is running the latest software. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
2. *Reset network settings*: Reset your network settings to their default values. Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings.
3. *Contact Samsung support*: Reach out to Samsung's Indian support team to report the issue and seek their assistance.
4. *Contact Jio support*: Verify with Jio that your SIM card and account are 5G-enabled and that there are no issues with their network in your area.
*Conclusion*
It's puzzling that your Nothing Phone is getting 5G with the same SIM in the same location. This suggests that the issue might be specific to your S24 Ultra device. By troubleshooting and contacting Samsung and Jio support, you should be able to resolve the issue and enjoy 5G connectivity on your S24 Ultra.
