Seems Samsung is making fool of us Indians. In USA you can tradein Note 9 at 600USD, and also get 150 USD coupon. In India, you get exchange at around 19000 INR and option to buy outdated Watch Active at additional 9,999.

Say No to Note 10/10plus, let Samsung understand we dont like to be treated as fools and its, we, who made you stand in India, and its, we, who can reverse it. So please stop being Apple, stay Samsung

ok , than buy that device from US and ship it to india .than you will realise how cost works .

if you buy a product at 100INR in US Price AND get that in india you have to pay 230INR ( shipping cost + custom cost + GST + foreign business tax etc etc )

but you are getting it in less , this is just an example

remember those who compare US market with Indian market are just fools

You need to understand the resale values or tradein values of older Samsung mobiles in Indian Market. It was never about importing from USA. It was all about not giving the same deal in India despite having manufacturing plant in Noida, India itself.
Due to local manufacturing, there is no import duty or foreign tax. Instead same should be applicable at USA side, if Samsung is exporting from India.
