Why does the phone lag so much when playing games such as pubg or mcoc

Any idea why does note 9 lags so much when playing games such as pubg or marvel contest of champions. I bought this high end device and i am very disappointed!

Similar issue i am also facing phone gets hot and screen freeze lag and all did u get any solution for this issue
