It's an Android based system at the end of the day. It is prone to lags and stutters my friend :)

One suggestion: Good idea to clear cache and reboot your note 8 once every 2-3 days. Have seen this make a world of difference on the performance.

the device runs great . It just stutters when you have to show your device to friends . Fu## yesterday my device froze in multiplex , you know what was really bad , my friends were ios users .

Suggestion: Make sure all apps you install on your device are put to sleep from the battery settings. Except Google keyboard & Nova launcher all my apps are on sleep mode and I get about 5.5 hours of screen on time from my note 8. (without any impact on notifications from apps whatsoever).
