Even after a month of laggy One UI 4 update to my note 20 ultra there is no effort from samsung to rectify this .......I saw my frnds 5 years old iphone and that is still having butter smooth animations without any lags .......this phone is hardly hardly 2 years old and started lagging!!! Such a shame samsung!!
My old S9 is having better smoothness in terms of UI transitions and switching between apps.

Please do something or else you will loose a loyal customer again

All animations are buttery smooth in One UI 4.0
Please Factory Reset your phone the right way. Ideally, this should be done after every MAJOR Android update:

Oh, it's weird then...check for a few things:

- Display refresh rate = 120 Hz.

- Maybe some rogue app is causing the issue? Check app list, sometimes Galaxy Store downloads unwanted apps like Mojo, Taka tak, etc. Disable 'recommendations' from that store. I use it only for Samsung app updates.

- Update any Samsung apps from Galaxy Store. And other apps from Play Store.

- Did you download any app outside the Play Store? Use 'Deep Sleep' feature to put unwanted apps (for example, games) to deep sleep.

- Check memory card for errors.

- Scan for viruses (mostly on memory card). Turn Play Protect ON to scan apps.

- Clear Cache for Google Play Services.

I'm not experiencing any 'lags'.
In fact, it's now smoother than One UI 3.

Hmm its not weird i already have one more thread going for the same and many note 2o ultra users confirmed this.....and as i said even after factory reset when you don't have any other apps installed or service taken it is the same....the notification pull is laggy then app switch plus in app scrolling these are the issues confirmed by many users....infact s21 ultra users also confirmed this
In 120hz it is very much masked but again it is masked not smooth as it should have been

Hmm...Maybe I'm lucky or I'm just good at optimizing my phones well 😎

I am assuming you've Factory Reset your phone as I've mentioned in the guide. It needs to be done: Wipe Cache -> Factory Reset -> Wipe Cache again for maximum impact.

I hope all the "lags" are fixed with new patch updates. Let's see 🤞🏻
I think (and hope) now we'll get February patch directly.

Is the model SM-N986B/DS (Exynos)?
I think maybe some particular models have 'lag' issues 🙄
