Samsung galaxy note 8 not working after July software updates

Samsung Galaxy note 8 received July security update yesterday morning. Installation went well but after powering on the phone lost capability of Network detection. It was showing circle with minus at the place of the signal bar. I tried by reinsert the sim again and again but no success. No device is showing 'An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software'. I visited the service center and they told me that it's IMEI no is crashed and they flushed the device and it is completely dead. I shows the error only on the screen. Anyone else faced this issue with note 8 July update.

Service centre said motherboard needs to be changed. Like why? Samsung needs to fix this asap. Sim card not detected. Mobile network option has vanished from connectivity. Once you open Sim card manager phone freezes. Cannot sign into samsung services. All this going on with a flagship? Samsung needs to work on it now or replace with a new model even if out of warranty.

I got my phone back from service centre. just paid 240 rs. they just updated the phone. no data loss. phone working fine.

Same happened with me n I visited device center after talking to Samsung customer service toll free number that it is not motherboard damage but software error and it can be corrected using smart switch or by visiting service center .I went again to the same service center who advised to get motherboard changed earlier and informed them about my talk on toll free number that it's software error.They flashed the mobile within 15 minutes the started working with both sins and IMEI working.They didn't charge anything

I am facing the same issue, after upgradation phone lost capability of Network detection. It was showing circle with minus at the place of the signal bar. I tried by reinsert the sim again and again but no success.

Also tried to reset the phone but it was not working at all.

This is the problem of Samsung, either they fix it or replace my phone, very terrible experience

Go to nearest service centre and update your mobile free of cost. 

You hav a computer 

Download note 8 official firmware from sammobile and install via odin. 

All introductions available on downloading page.

facing same issue. visit service centre very next day they said they dont have any update regarding this issue. they note down my number and said they will call me once the receive update. can't receive any call from them for 2 days then on 31st will again visit service centre. they said wait for half an hour. i was wait there for more than 1 hour. then the said drop your mobile here will call me after fix it. but after 3 days of time mobile is in the service centre and still the problem not fixed by them. they said repair is under process and they will continuously in contact with samsung technical team.
data is already loss and still no result.
very disappointed with the samsung service. never expected this kind of service from them.
