Galaxy Note
Samsung Galaxy note 8 received July security update yesterday morning. Installation went well but after powering on the phone lost capability of Network detection. It was showing circle with minus at the place of the signal bar. I tried by reinsert the sim again and again but no success. No device is showing 'An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software'. I visited the service center and they told me that it's IMEI no is crashed and they flushed the device and it is completely dead. I shows the error only on the screen. Anyone else faced this issue with note 8 July update.
Service centre said motherboard needs to be changed. Like why? Samsung needs to fix this asap. Sim card not detected. Mobile network option has vanished from connectivity. Once you open Sim card manager phone freezes. Cannot sign into samsung services. All this going on with a flagship? Samsung needs to work on it now or replace with a new model even if out of warranty.

form 31st of july mobile is with them at service centre. still repair is not done.

Galaxy Notesame here. My note 8 crash. Green screen and touch is not functioning 2 days after the update. Tried to restart to no avail. Had to buy same brand but for a lesser price. Samsung should fix this issue otherwise their brand will be compromised.
