remote means if you want tv,or ac or for any smart device remote option..then you have to install peel remote or smart remote app then have to connect your device and that smart device with same wifi connection only.......(NOTE....previously that facility was there in few Samsung devices inbuilt..ex .galaxy note 3,note 4,note edge ect....those have built in IR blaster hence no need to connect with wifi...but new devices don't have that hardware feature hence need to connect both devices and smart models with same wifi interface)
you question is not very clear. If you are wanting to use both devices as a remote then NO you cannot use it since both devices does not have infra red blaster. Secondly. if you are hinting as using wireless reverse charging, note 9 will not work as it does not have the built in requirement, and lastly if you want to use 10 plus for file transfer remotely with note 9, both should be on same wifi network and yes you can quickshare file to note 9 from 10 plus.
