Are you sure it's not working? By default, your power button is attached to Bixby. Do check your settings before if you haven't done so already.
With reference to the cost, Note 10 is a great phone with inexpensive parts. Not sure of the exact pricing, but similar phones can be fixed for between 100 and 500. Maybe a little extra for labour. The button is a minor repair and a common issue. You should be able to get it done for under 500, within 30 mins if they have the part in stock, which they mostly will, because the same power button is shared by several models, and the problems is common with heavy users.
For future, a Top Tip 💡 for you. If you want to save power button wear, put on the setting to double tap on screen to turn on, and use that instead of pressing the power button all the time. See the attached screenshot.
