I had my old samsung note 20 which i started to use again after some issue in my current device.
I installed all the recent updates on my phone and after a brief usage i found out that my phone only lasts somewhere around 7-8 hours for a full charge,
After diagnosis of my device everything looks pretty clear without any fault.
Now the thing bothering me is that do i have to replace the battery or is it some update issue
Anyone please help!

If Screen on time is 7-8 hours than It's ok. But if phone is on idle state and last about 7-8 h than It's not ok. You need to replace battery at samsung authorised service center.

The phone generally is never idle state other than night time ,and during the night time the battery only gets a few percentages down.
Also mentioning Regarding battery performance i read somewhere to clear cache ,but im not able to enter boot menu,

Was the phone switched off the whole time it was lying around with the battery fully drained? If yes, that creates a huge problem for the battery and it wears off.
