I hear some of the note 8 users complaining that after updating to a certain Android Oreo version the phones majority of sensors don't work. A software reset doesn't help and they end up getting the phones motherboard replaced. Anyone know how valid/true is this?

I bought this note 8 recently which is running Android 8.0 (baseband version N950FXXU3CRB9) And has the below update available:

Version: N950FXXU5CRHA/N950FOXM5CRI2/N950FXXU5CRHA

Considering that Android pie is releasing in a month for note 8, should I skip the above update and update with Android pie straightaway?

Thanks in advance
