Every brand/company have their own process. Android OS is universal which work on many mobile companies where Apple have only their devices. Samsung itself have many mobile models andits definitely very difficult task to make compatible release which work on various models.

Might be they lacking technically or they follow a process.

i will suggest to have patience.
