Galaxy Note
Hi All,
I am facing an issue with my Note 4 network connectivity. Sometimes the connectivity is lost, and I won't be able to make or receive calls even when the signal strength indication shows good signal. The strange part is that anyone calling to my number gets a ringback, and my phone will not show any indication of the call.
Phone overheats, and battery drains quickly during the issue, and on checking cell standby seems to have taken lot of battery. Issue is not very frequent and if it happens restart is the only option.
I was suggested to take phone to a service center, but would like to know if the issue was seen by any one on Note4 or on any Samsung phones.

Thanks for being with Samsung and for sharing your.
Let me recommend some steps to further isolate and determine what you are experiencing. Please be aware that device speeds may vary based on multiple outside factors. We would like to suggest you kindly follow the below mention steps to overcome the Issue:-
1) Ensure that network frequency of your device should be selected on Auto-mode.
Menu>Settings> Connections>More Networks> Mobile Networks> Network Mode> Select Auto mode (GSM/WCDMA/LTE).
2) Search for the Network Manually as follows:
Menu> Settings> Connections>More Networks> Mobile Networks> Network Operators> Select Manual Search.
3) You may check by exchanging the SIM in SIM slots.
4) Insert different SIM card in your mobile and check if the issue is resolved or not.
If still issue persists then we would suggest you to once contact with your service provider.

The issue was seen both when network mode was set to auto and when mode was forced to GSM. The phone is successful in searching a network and registering to it, but 4 or 5 days after working fine, this issue is seen where suddenly phone starts to overheat and connectivity is lost even when good signal strength is shown.
Mine is a single SIM phone and exchanging slots is not an option. :)
Could not yet try with a different SIM card, as the issue is not very frequent and can't use a different number for that long.
