The biometrics in the Samsung galaxy note 10 lite is very bad . If you are spending Rs.35,000 on a phone you expect a good fingerprint scanner and a good face recognition. The fingerprint scanner is very slow and doesn't work sometimes . The face recognition works rarely. If you wanted the face recognition to work you need to give 10 seconds and it may recognise sometimes but may not recognise you eveytime . I know Samsung is a very good company and I'm a Samsung fan boy . I hope this improves in the future.

Hi Vishal,
You can stop fingerprint unlock animation and register 2-3 different fingers from your hand and than check out please.

Turn off fingerprint animation, remove screen protector. Make sure your finger is clean. We need do all this because of optical sensor. Face recognition is not secure and slow because of technology involved in it.

Thank you for sharing your concern. We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. And please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

1- If any screen guard/tampered glass/protection film is available then first disable the fingerprint settings and then remove the screen guard.
2- Once screen guard is removed now register the fingerprint again and check the issue.
3- If problem does not get resolved, run the device in Safe mode and reconfigure the fingerprint.

4- Check for the latest device O/S (Scroll down Notification panel >Settings >Software Update >Download updates manually).

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Ask questions).
