Galaxy Note
Hi team
I just bought a new note 8, which I am loving it.
The major problem I am facing is the battery drain when phone is idle.
I am observing since 4 days, when I finish charge note 8 100% around 1 am and keep all Wi-Fi and other connections off.
So when I wake up in morning at 8.30 am battery get reduce to around 75% or 74%. It is losing almost 25% during the idle time.
Please advise is it battery fault or what and advise me a solution for it.
Note: See attached screenshot.

Hi,
I don't know if it's your battery's fault. But, to preserve your battery:
- Don't use it whilst charging
- Don't take it to 100%. Until around 90% is good enough as the Lithium battery uses more voltage when battery level is higher.
I don't think this is going to help your issue but will preserve your battery definitely.
I think what you can do for your issue is try:
- Turn off Always-On Display
- Check display and lock screen settings for some things that may be using up battery. Like something that is always activated. For e.g. Always on display and such.
Try that and hope it helps!
