I have a problem with note 20 ultra autofocus

most of times main camera doesn't auto focus (tough screen to focus also doesn't work) and result is blurry. but at the same time wide 0.5x and telephoto 5x works fine and auto focus works correctly. the ridiculous solution is a small knock to camera and auto focus start working also changing between video and camera can resolve issue temporary until the next time that you start the camera app i think autofocus issue in main camera only affect on far subject and about close subject i see the camera trying to auto focus 

I think the issue appear after some updates . I cannot remember that before last update. also i remember the same problem before first update. the issue goes and come back after sequential updates

So I think you should first visit to nearby Samsung service center for physical camera test, because when camera it self gets some issue this problem can occur and as we know flagship phones camera gets ois so you should also check that is there any problem in ois if there is an issue in ois this problem might comes and if you think that next update can solve this then wait for it and if it doesn't works then you should surely visit to nearby Samsung service center.

When is tap or knock on phone then it start focusing but after some time same issue occurs

So I think it must should problem in camera ois and sensor because as you described you tap or knock it works good for sometime and then this problem continues so you should visit nearby Samsung service center if you whish so.
