How are you all doing?
Just wanted to share my happiness with the community -

Recently, after April security update, I received a surprise gift from Samsung!

One morning, I was suddenl welcomed by the 'green line' gift on my phone. I mean...wow!
I could not believe my eyes. My display looks so wonderful now with a green line passing through the center -

And I already Factory Reset my phone to check the validity of this gift but it did not go away.
So this is definitely a gift from Samsung after software update.

But wait, there's more!!

When I went to the service center to thank Samsung team about this, they checked my device & since I had purchased it in 2021 (> 3 years passed), they asked me for payment!

What an absurdity, right? How can someone give a surprise gift and then still ask for payment?

I did not pay anything but mailed Head of Operations, CEO mail. I got the same reply.

I also received a call from CEO office (wonder if this is real or not at Samsung India), they kept saying, "Sir, your phone was purchased > 3 years and even if we, at Samsung, have gifted you the green line, you need to pay 23,000 Rs.

And we cannot take this gift back, sir! It's mandatory to long-term Samsung users. So please pay & enjoy it!"

So now I am stuck with this dilemma - How can someone give you a 'gift' but still make you pay for it? Does this make sense?

So I wanted to know how many of you received this 'gift' on your Note 20 Ultra? What did you do with it?

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to others users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.
