The Green colored grid lines which we are facing on Note 9 has not been resolved after a the major one ui 2.5 update. In between the phone worked with good display for some days and returned back to green lines display again. Shame on samsung @SamsungIndia

how it will where already your display got destroyed as many note9 users faced ... samsung provides non A/B partition type ota software not like other company hence only proper and recommended method to install software in any samsung devices is via smart switch and pc which is recommended, or by Odin or through authorized samsung service center as they use Odin only for official purposes.....otherwise if someone install software via simply mobile data or wifi then possible loop hole can create anything mysterious with device even motherboard or display can be destroyed forever....... like that yours already got so only way is to change the display as many note9 users did .....that devices already had 13 vulnerability and 2 critical issue in samsung own software so if someone bringed software loop hole over that by totally wrong process of software install then most of all already damaged their display

why u keep telling people the same thing again and again.
I always update my phone OTA. No WiFi no switch and no ODIN.
My Note 9 is working fine and no problem so far.
Problem occurs only if the update process is interrupted or the update file is corrupted or update has a bug.
In every similar post, you're posting rhetoric replies.
Best practice is to allow the phone to update properly and after every major update reset your phone.

are bro .. if it's like that then why for same software update he is suffering and you are not? thatswhy I told it's not the proper way to install software in samsung devices... that will may create any issue if by chance that software not installed fully or correctly... bhai samsung members app aise hi bhare hue nehi hota...... I updated my last software though wifi so what ? it doesn't mean its the process.....and never say to anyone that simply instal software by mobile data or wifi is better that flushing firmware..they will forget there knowledge also ... your device not getting issues that is good but by chance if it will then you can understand what in non A/ B SmartSelect_20201031-143759_Chrome_126.jpg

we Samsung users does not have A/B partition to revert back if any issues in installed update. and Odin is the official app by samsung though Samsung doesn't release it publicly it gets leaked eventually.
Google made it clear in 2014 that brand should keep their projects open source.. That's the reason they are not taking action on sammobile..around 2012-13 or 2013-14 there was a big backlash on Samsung and there is this issue where every S series and j series mobiles used to get bricked with every update they release. Users have to visit service center for every update to unbrick devices. Those times Samsung has this app called Samsung kies which detects bricked device and initialize emergency firmware installation. But also kies interface and ui is somewhat difficult and not all users able to use it. Then they released smartswitch with integrated kies where user can backup, restore and even update devices. As of odin Samsung itself uses it. And firmwares are open source from 2014 where developers can use to create their own. Samsung officially has a mail I'd for xda developer user where they can request firmware and firmware is sent to your registered mail. Sammobile is one of it they are legal and gets firmware from Samsung🙂🙂

See bro as I told before that always a non A/ B partition type ota needs a perfect and uninterrupted carrier to upload..in that sense mobile data or wifi even not the proper source.. and even neither mobile data nor wifi create any issue in samsung devices during software update but problem will generate maximum time when you tap on install software..if that time it will installed correctly then no issue if not then it will create thousands if issue ..thatswhy it's better to keep stable carrier to upload ..first of which is flash that firmware second is smart switch...slight_smile..otherwise as an example You simply installed software though wifi none of the issue is there but inside same device and for same software others are getting issues...it's not like that bro because it's not possible that same device create different types of issue by same software🙂🙂
