My note 9 phone display intermittently turning green after March 2020 softerware update . I took it to samsung authorised service centre . They recommended for replacement of display . Though my one year old phone didn't suffer any physical impact .  It is not only me other note 9 user also facing this problem . Dose change of display really resovle the issue ? On top of that they are giving 3 months warranty on daisplay . If there is any manufacturing defect that leads to the screen green then it can't  be a solution . Then should I throw this premium flagship phone after just using one year only ?  Then definitely samsung cheated me and I shall never buy samsung in future .  When they are making faulty phones in there premium flagship models then other models are simply worthless . Strongly recommend no to this brand if they fail to provide proper solution for this .

I think there is manufacturing defect. They must roll it back or give a permanent solution . When so many people faceing same problem then it cannot be any sort of mishandling of the device . And why everyone facing this problem suddenly after March 2020 . After so many cases on same matter if Samsung is silent then they have cheated all of us .

agree...i am waiting for a few days hoping for a software update. or else never buying a samsung ever again. "Samsung" please wake up. very unethical way to make customers upgrade to the new Note 20...but we r not buying a samsung again if this issue isnt resolved

experienced the same problem for the past 2 days. I wanted to factory reset it since reading all the comments it seems to be the problem from the recent software update. I managed to temporary stop the green screen problem by placing my phone in the fridge for about 10 minutes at least. It cooled the screen and the green effect was gone for a while, just enough time for me to log in and factory reset the phone.

If necessary, you can connect it to a desktop immediately first after logging in so that you can back up the phone either through files or samsung dex. After resetting I did not update any preinstalled apps just to be safe. Will need to look into which specific update that caused this problem in the first place.

Hope this helps for anyone out there! Also Samsung seriously need to solve this problem. The phone is still new and yet this happened.  Disappointing Samsung.

started facing the same problem. screen turns green n phone hangs up. for the time being i have disabled adaptive brightness and put the phone to minimum brightness as suggested by few members. so atleast the phone is working albeit without brightness. this is a Samsung software error and they should accept it and take corrective measures. asking us to visit samsung store, where waiting period is 14 days is ridiculous considering we already know its a software error

Samsung giving this solution in the forum and when you take it to the service centre they will say to change display . Why there are different solution given to different point ? Even samsung is silent after selling this premium business phone . Also they are promoting their note 9 used by the reporters of NDTV . What a **bleep**( misguided) promotion ????? Actually they should not be trust after Note 7 issues. They are continuously make faulty phone sets .
