Galaxy NoteOr
It just appeared after the update ?
If Update,
Then which update ?
The security patch ?
(This is just a bandaid, not a fix)
If it is just after the update and you have not dropped the phone :
This thing has helped a few to make the line disappear.
Go to developers' options
Search 'Disable Hardware Overlays"
Turn this ON
Search for "Simulate Color Space"
Choose Disable
Restart your phone.
This has worked for some and did not for others. So, my regrets if it doesn't work for you.

Galaxy NoteMoreover, as I mentioned, it is a bandaid, not a fix. Green line is a hardware failure, and you can somewhat suppress it, and it is prone to come back.
For your skepticalistic comment:
I am a software developer myself, and the following is the technical explanation.
It forces overlay primary LED colors ( Red/Green/Blue) and exposes mixed colors to simulate and suppress the green line. However, a lot depends on the actual cause of hardware failure. It depends on the RGB led sequences in a straight vertical line or not. Superficially, all green lines look the same, but they are derived from different nature technically.
Members being misleaded:
This is not something you can not undo. It is not a permanent thing, and one can always go back to revert the changes.
People are not blind and they can see if the lines are suppressed or still visible after those changes. I am not sure where this "misleading" phenomenon emerges from.

Galaxy NoteFor some, a fancy, unnecessary line on the screen is more stressful than the overlay. It is a personal choice. No one is forced to implement this, and it is mentioned with redundancy that it is just a bandaid, not a fix.
You (or anyone, for a matter of fact) are not forced to implement this. Gulp this with a pinch of salt or choose not to gulp it at all.
Simple 🤘

Galaxy NoteMy suggestion would be a third-party repair center as Note 20 is not a latest device, and it does not make sense to spend a hefty amount for its repair.
But, screen replacement is the only solution now, unfortunately !
