Hello sir

 I have Samsung Galaxy note 9  512gb which is purchased in September 2018. And now I'm using it..

So here I'm writing my Problem or Story About “discoloration” screen issue in my Device It's accrued By Faulty software. By Samsung

 I received my monthly security patch update for the month of March 2020 via OTA (over the air). Upon updating the above mentioned security patch, I started to face screen flickering issue. Thinking that, it is a lag, I restarted my phone. Now, the real problem started 11th February . The display turned pale Green . Initially I thought it might be because of Blue Light Filter. Upon switching off Blue light filter, the problem was not solved. I also started getting horizontal lines on my screen which was surprising and the phone would heat up severely, not letting me to use it for sometime. After end of day it totally green color display it not touch working. Fully green color display show on  My Note 9

After waiting for software fix I contacted to Samsung online help in same day in 11th February

To conclude, from my observations above, it is clearly evident that, the problem which I am facing is purely software glitch and not a display problem as suggested by your service center engineers. First they said its a display problem and then i explained every thing to them and they don't even care about it. I have been using note series from samsung note 4 .while contacted customer care today 13th of Feb. They simply reject my mobile by saying physical damage .my phone has no physical damage till now only minor scratches here and there in 2 years of usage. they cant do nothing warranty of the phone is over u have to pay Rs 17 k to get a display replacement. Now samsung also joint the party by creating a problem and sell the solution . i still don't know why should I hove to pay for there created problem. People around the world including me purchase high end smartphones from Samsung with a trust in quality and assurance, which the Company has built over the years. With this trust and belief, I hope and look forward for Samsung India to acknowledge this issue by providing me with a comprehensive solution.

I am having the discoloring issue on my Samsung Galaxy M31 and seeing that thousands of other customers are facing the same issue, I have filed a complaint against samsung on National Consumer Helpline (https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/). It is a very easy process and you can do the same if they are asking you for 5000 rupees for screen replacement.

Dont cheat your customers by selling cheap and bad quality phones. My Galaxy Note 9 which was in mint condition had discoloration issue. when given to Service center, they informed that they are facing such issues in all Note 9 Mobile Phones and will take it with Samsung for free of cost replacement as they could not find any damage with the phone. 

 

Now Samsung is asking to pay for screen replacement for no fault of customer. If Samsung was to earn money through such cheap means, its better to beg rather than ask the customer to pay for your faults. Being a lifelong samsung customer, i feel cheated and betrayed.

 

Wake up Samsung and address this issue immediately otherwise you are going to lose lot of customers.

 

Sick of your product and your service.

Thank u Samsung for ruining my note 9 512gb via software update.you are the worst in every thing no customer support nothing.
Thank u for rejecting my software problem note 9 due to small scratches on the side bazel.you have lost one of the valid note user.
I'm tired of your service policy.

Why should i have to pay for your mistake. If scratches means physical damage u can easily reject each and every phone in the universe . Customer care and support is nothing but a joke. They still now not accepting it as problem happen because of software update. Samsung become very greedy nowadays. Anyway thank u this is my last Samsung product form you good bye scamsungnote9

Hello Samsung Team, 

The same issue I am also facing after the software update even there is no damage to the display.  

I am not sure what is the fundamental idea here by Samsung. How come the display issue will come automatically? Is it forced to do something to the customer's phone? I think this is a serious issue. The higher management should know about it.

Even I am not getting any conclusion after reaching out to the support team.

The same issue with me after using the phone for 1.9 years.....faced the same issue 8 months back however got it rectified on my own but now unable to resolve it and service centre guys saying it is an impact damage. I am 100% sure there is no damage it is just a fault it samsung series phone .. say no to samsung
