Charging port issue due to water

Guys! I have Note 8 & accidentally dropped my phone in Bucket the phone get wet. Now I am charging the phone the message is appearing that the charge port is wet wait to get dry. Is it normal or I have to visit service center? Though samsung has said that this phone is waterproof.
