Button drop

Hi, I am facing peculiar problem in my note8. All the buttons in my phone dropping off..seems like it's fixed using glue. Samsung repair center ( TVS Electronics, Chennai,T.Nagar)to pay Rs.20k for repair...my jaws dropped after I heard. Phone is just 2.5 years.. regret buying this phone....can any one inthis community guide me.. why they told they need to change display to correct my buttons😢🙁
