Android 10 Update

Samsung will not be giving the Android 10 Update to phones older than 2 years.

Samsung should give the Update.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 will not get the Android 10 but they are only 2 years old

This is the least Samsung can do.

We want the Update of Android 10

google cleared that on their official blog. Android 10 updates will follow PROJECT MAINLINE for non google devices

My point is 2 year old phones should not be barred from new Android Version Upgrades.

so we want Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8 to receive Android 10. This is required

Read Google developers blog . they implemented Project Mainline for Android 10 Update means lot more device will not recive android 10 even though they are 2 year old or new , if not supported by Project mainline

Apple is giving iOS 14 to iPhone 6s, which is a 4 year old device.

apple is not android platform, iOS policy is 4 years average support , android has strict only 2 year time based or through project TREBLE or project mainline ( android 10 only ) based updates

search Project mainline in google developers blog. Android 10 is based on project mainline , previously simce android 8 they came with Project Treble. so android 8, 8.1 or 9 only updated to project trebel supported devices , now Android 10 comes with Project mainline
