AKG earphones are the worst quality. Till now I must have changed them within 6 months of a new phone purchased. I bought Note 8 AKG went bad(1ear not working)in just 3 months, Bought Note9 for wife and just in one month had to replace them again the same problem, my AKG with Note9 are also not working fine but now they are out of warranty so can't replace now.
AKG are worst quality trust me.

you're definitely not keeping your earphones with care. I've been using akg earphones for almost 2 years now wothout any issues.

@SamGSam my way of using and maintaining is really good. Prior to AKG, I never had a history of running into bad earphones. I used my Nokia earphones which came with N8 for 3 years, Galaxy Note1, 2 and S2 & 3 earphones for average 1.5 years.
I've also used Bluetooth earphones from LG A100(2yrs) and currently Sony WI-310(3 months).
None of them gave any problem except for AKG.

Hi there,

Please perform the following steps to resolve the issue:

1- Check same earphone in another device.

2- Check another earphone in your device.

3- Settings > sound and vibration > sound quality and effects > equalizer > check accordingly.
