Friends yesterday I faced an issue  with the earphones on my Galaxy M40. So I contacted the customer support through WhatsApp and instructed  me to get assist from nearby Samsung  service centre. And today I visited on and said about the complaint I faced So the guy told me the it must be the issue with usb type-c sub board . So I gave it for repair and left ,on evening they contacted me and said "The issue is not with the sub board ,it is with the main board and need to replace it ". 

So I asked the is the warranty is available then they replayed "Yes, it is available but we are unable to place the order for the product, And included we will wait 2 more days to place the order else the Samsung will provide a voucher valued same as the price I ordered the phone ".

Please help me guys what should I do , they even told they need to keep the phone for 2 weeks and cannot gave it back . 

 

Actually what is happening does anyone have this experience please help.

2 weeks time for servicing is very long, also I've faced the same issue with a different model. As far as the servicing goes it was just as new as a showroom phone and as u mentioned it still comes under warranty it's better if u go with servicing if u've used ur phone for long time coz all the pictures, documents will still remain at some local storage even after deleting but if u haven't used ur phone(recently purchased) then I'd say u take the voucher and buy a phone if ur choice

Bro I used it for 11 months now, Yesterday I performed Factory rest So no personal data and having no issue with , But the issue is whether they replace it with good board and if not how to use the voucher .

Please assist me.

okay so if u did a factory reset then let them do a board replacement but make up a reason and tell them to u need it at the earliest(high priority), I did that and got my phone back within 3 days and after that i didn't have any issues and i still have that phone in working condition. ''If'' they give u the voucher then go to a samsung showroom and buy a model of ur liking

Yes Bro I wish the board to be replaced ASAP , But if the voucher is given There is no scope of buying the same model ie M40 because it is online model . And for A series I need to spend extra money to purchase it , So will not be a good idea for me because I have no money for it .And also it takes time

bro if u get the voucher then buy A31 with 6GB ram or m31 with 8GB ram very close price range to m40, also these new models m31 or A31 have got much better features than m40

first of all sorry for the inconvenience. And the problem us that during the lockdown we got many handsets for repair. And it resulted in shortage of spare parts. Manufacturing was temporarily stopped during lock down. so many spare parts are unavailable or will take 1 or 2 weeks. Thats the problem. can u tell me your place plz

ok. so the main board of m40 is not available in overall india. and not possible to order as delivery not available. if you are satisfied with the usage of your m40 handset and u like it you must hav to wait. otherwise you can ask for voucher and can use the same for the purchase of a new handset

If the board replacement takes long I should use the voucher but don't know how to use it And I don't have any money to spent for a mobile . Kindly help me...
