My M53 stopped charging from original 25 W samsung charger! However it takes charge from any other company charger! Irony is, it take charge from normal Samsung charger also. When I visited Samsung service centre at Newtown Kolkata, they said my charging connector have to be changed cost Rs.1,700/-. Which kind of joke or unethical business practices you running Samsung? My phone just 1.5 years age and I never charged it from any other charger also avoid "25W fast charging" if not required.
As you have already visited the service centre and they have guided you through the information regarding the part replacement after the physical inspection of your device. They will provide you with original parts at a genuine cost. The charges are applicable to the repair which was already confirmed by the service team. And, they will provide you service invoice after completing the repair.
