Samsung M31s - Exynox 9611 Motherboard Failure after OS update

Dear All,

I hope there are many people are affected with the subject matter. However, the samsung is just busy with selling more and more phones with no benefits to the customers. Samsung's product quality is degraded down to the status of cheap chinese phones. 

I was a loyal samsung user but now my opinion has changed. I lost my trust on this brand and i will never recommend this brand to anyone. 

Note: Please dont buy any Samsung's entry level and mid range phones with exynos processor.

Bought my m31s on nov 2020. Within the warranty period had the camera issue and restart problems. So i visited the service center, they just factory reset and gave it back. However it continued, last month it suddenly went into brick. As advised by samsung, visited the nearest samsung service center in pathanamthitta they said its the faulty motherboard, which is to be replaced @ 9k - 10k. Then meanwhile i have been in touch with the samsung head office, after several calls and emails they gave me a discount of 25% on total repair cost. But i did not accept the offer. Since this issue is happened because of the manufacturing defect/poor quality. The company should replace the faulty parts at their cost or discount of atleast 50% to be given as a courtesy gesture. Even now Samsung's customer service representative said, the 1 year warranty is over and they can't do anything further. If a perfectly working phone got damaged suddenly and i have no option to recover my data, my valuable memories gone with it, who is responsible for that? As advertised by samsung, they assures 3-4years OS and security updates, 8 gb ram, 128gb or 256 gb memory and so on.. what is use? Eventually, all these devices gets bricked after 1 year (which is infact very fishy) The greed of the samsung will end and the Nokia's fate repeat once again.

Absolutely 💯 right bro, I agree with you SAMSUNG is no more trustworthy brand now, we should not recommend to anyone to buy SAMSUNG phones in the future

My bad i bought a A53 5g after this incident, even the new device has lot of bugs and glitches. Battery drain issue, samsungs apps are not optimized, eye comfort feature is not working, heating issues and so on.

Do not buy exynos processor phones of Samsung they are garbage

Get the motherboard replaced free of charge from an authorized service center. You have the right to get it for free since Samsung is at fault.

Free only if it's in warranty!! Even if SAMSUNG fault they never accept it only suggests buy/repair it on our own cost.
