There is a problem in m31s that it will freeze and turn off and after some time it starts automatically.

Take a complete backup as soon as you can. Its an issue due to Exynos 9611. Its going to be dead soon. My M31s had a similar case and Samsung asked for ₹8000 for changing the motherboard.
I had it repaired at a local shop for ₹2000. I would rather suggest you to exchange the device in upcoming sale.

Backup your data before it's too late. To turn on the phone forcefully, press and hold power button and volume down button.
After that try factory reset.
If the issue still persists, try installing firmware whose process I have explained in my post(link below):
