From the past one month my M31s is freezing and restarting again and again.  I searched for the problem online, there were many complaints regarding the same issue and samsung is charging around 7000 rupees to do necessary changes in the motherboard to fix the issue. 
Why should the customers be the one to pay for it when it's clearly company's fault to not able to provide stability in not just one model but a series of models. Many have already filed complaint in consumer court regarding this and so did I. I urge everyone who is facing similar issue to file complaint. 
Samsung India should be held responsible for this mass cheating.

Try to reset your mobile using Samsung smart switch to restore your data after reset & check either your mobile is restarting itself or not .
In case it doesn't work visit service center,hope it helps, Thank you.

r u mad , if u dont know about problem then  dont share ur useless openion , u think this people r fool they have no knowledge of factory reset

2. Settings 》Device Care 》Battery 》Background usage limits 》
* Deep sleeping apps 》select all apps
* Sleeping apps 》select all apps

3. Settings 》Apps 》
Android system Web view 》Tap on 3 dots 》uninstall update
Android system intelligence 》Tap on 3 dots 》uninstall update
Chrome 》Tap on 3 dots 》uninstall update

4. Playstore 》Storge 》Clear data

5. Update all apps

This is a manufacturing defect of exynos 9611 soc and a quality control fault of Samsung
They had provided free repair to many users but now it has become widespread

Follow the above steps in the post, if they deny, then ask for discount and be adamant that the update has damaged your phone, tell them you will file complaints in consumer forum
