Its not available in Samsung devices as of now, I have seen it only in Windows 10.

If you want to see the battery percentage of connected bluetooth device then swipe down the notification toggle and below the bluetooth sign , click on "bluetooth ". You can see it.

Mine used to do this... I have a Galaxy S8.  But I did something last summer and mistakenly turned it off.  I've not been able to turn it back on since. πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯ Makes me very sad...
