Does the exynos 1280 SoC actually support 4K playback? There's no 1440p or 2160p option in YouTube app (Galaxy M34 5g). 

Some locally downloaded 4k 60fps (3840x2160) video files are also unplayable.

Yep,supports 4K@30 encoding/decoding.(SS is from official site)

And youtube app only shows resolution according to your phone.

I think they haven't implemented it to native video player ,try to use a 3rd party video player like VLC.(4k@60 won't work)

But you are using brave browser youtube thatt can support 4k

How to know that if we play downloaded 4k video in 3rd party player...Than it's play just 1080 priview or actual 4k video
