Dual WhatsApp Folder and Data missing

Today i wasn't able to find my dual WhatsApp album in my gallery. I checked in dual app location in the file manager and it was empty. I opened Individual chats in the Dual WhatsApp and found the image shows in media section. Where as the Whatsapp document image isn't opening. Some random images and videos are playing on WhatsApp but not visible on file manager and gallery. 

Pls help me get over this. THANKS

PS: i have my software updated. I have all the permissions granted. I didn't delete anything recently. I don't have any malware on my device (Galaxy M30s)

Hi,

Please note that the issue caused in Dual Whats App as recently Whats App upgraded its version and it changed the file path where all media files are to be saved.

Due to this change, Dual Messenger did not sync media saved at new path and so this is causing problem. Dual IM media sync logic is modified as per the new file path used by Whats App.

Please backup your files before device MR update (Whats App`backup : Whats App settings -> chats -> chat backup -> Google drive).

We really appreciate your hope and patience waiting our response to your inquiry,

Recently, there was a version up of whatsApp app.

At that point, there was a change in the saved file path, which is causing the problem.

We need confirmation from whatsapp team regarding the path they will be using for saving their media files as in some devices we observed that Whatsapp was still using the old path.

Samsung is trying to solve the problem quickly by contacting whatsapp team. If they go with the new concept then we will be needing some time to prepare the fix.

I was advised to perform a factory reset. Has anyone tried to perform a factory reset of the phone? Does it help to resolve the issue?

i performed the factory reset as advised by samsung support but the problem didnt solved even.

Let me add to the growing list of annoyed customers. This is clearly a bug on Samsung's part. I have been using Dual WhatsApp since December 2020 on this phone and the WhatsApp folder doesn't even exist in DualApps. I try to select "view in gallery" on an image i'm looking RIGHT AT in WhatsApp and then the gallery says "media doesn't exist". I imagine because it cannot find it because Samsung will not give permission for the rest of the system to see there folders.
