April 01 patch update fails. Device is dead

April update has crashed my M31 device. Can't do anything with this now. No reboot or factory reset or hard reset etc. Update Fails at 29% with an error.

power off phone then
power button and volume up button click same time
then factory reset it

Boot to Download mode in phone>Install Odin tool in PC and download your phone's official firmware from sammobile.com>follow steps in website>Reinstall firmware and check issue.

Yes it deletes all user data.Also there is no way to recover your data.Its already lost.

stuck with the same problem, waited for 6hrs for the battery to die. Thought it'd kill the process and the phone will start as normal. Kept for charging and in some time this screen comes again. the volumedown+power button for 7sec doesn't work as others mentioned. Reboots and gets back to the same screen. How to fix this, please!
