Android 11 update for M20

M20 is not listed in eligible models for android 11. It should also get android 11 update as M20 was released on android 8 when android 9 was already there. Other company models were releasing on android 9.

I request you all to write a feedback about this to Samsung.lets see if this helps in getting android 11.

don't bother they won't listen. You should try to see if there are any custom roms or ported roms

That's what I am saying,M20 was released on android 8 when android 9 was old enough. All competitor companies were providing android 9 at that time.

So you mean your M20 is currently running on Android 9 pie??? If yes then go to service center they will probably flash android 10 in your device as it's eligible for that.

But if it's running on Android 10 then don't expect android 11 as Samsung provides 2 major OS updates to their midrange devices.

Yes, you shouldn't compare a brand with another brand on the basis of what the other company is providing. It's upon the company to decide whether they will provide latest version out of the box or not, if someone finds that a particular brand device isn't completing his needs then he should probably consider buying devices of other brand.

You should always buy a device( of any brand ) that is providing the latest android version out of the box, so it's completely your mistake that you knowingly bought a device ( any brand ) that is giving an old android version out of the box.
