I have a brand new galaxy J4 which I havent unboxed till march 2024.
After I did unboxing, the phone is working perfectly.
It showed like around 5 software updates pending of which 1 update is a major android version upgrade
After each upgrade, I observed a noticable amount of slowness in performance.
So my question here is, Is this a strategy by #samsung to slow down phone's performance after upgrades which force the user to buy new version phones?
This one I am sure that when I unboxed, phone is faster for couple of days until I installed the first software update. After each upgrade performance degraded.
Even I observed camera clarity got degraded after each software update
In my family, everyone uses samsung but wondered why devices are getting lag in performance after one or 2 years. But recently when I unboxed brand new galaxy j4, observed this strategy behind the slowness

Samsung team,
I have a samsung s22 ultra which i bought in last september and now after recent update, it started lagging. Leave about j4 as it is budget phone and older model. But playing these kind of tricks on ultra series is worst thing to happen. I like samsung phones a lot which made me buy this s22 ultra last year but this lagging is definitely not expected from samsung. Please take this into consideration.
