Hi ,I am a samsung galaxy j7 pro user which is bought few monts earlier.I used a 32 the microsd card in my mobile which I had encrypted but today I locked my phone when I made a pattern lock and forgot it. I got my phone reset from a shop but I was unable to decrypt sd card as my phone was locked. when I inserted my encrypted sd card in my locked phone then it was asking me to decrypt the card then only I can use it 😟😟😢😢

What to do now .I have some important data in my card😓😓

u have to format it only then u can use it.

Encrpting / Decrepting of SD card is device related function so far device is not reset. Once device reset it lose its decrepting ability.
Samsung should explain the encrption with required caution about usage of function.

No the application cannot decrypt data when everything is lost after reset.

I dont think there can be any method of decrypting it because the algorithm by which you had encrypted the phone already got erased when your phone was reset. Always take a backup of your SD card in future because of such an uncertain event.

Sad to see you loosing your data. Dont worry it was just data and not life. Life is still ahead for you therefore you can recreate fresh memories from now and enjoy. Best of luck.
