Hi Members,

I’m facing a strange issue on my Samsung device where the Wi-Fi keeps connecting and disconnecting automatically. It happens even when the signal is strong and stable on other devices.

πŸ”§ What I’ve tried:

Restarted router and phone

Forgot and reconnected to the Wi-Fi network

Reset network settings

Software is up to date

Still, the issue continues randomly throughout the day.

πŸ“± Device: [ samsung f54 5g ]
🌐 Wi-Fi Provider: [ Airtel ]
πŸ“ Issue started: [ after oneui 7.0 update ]

Is anyone else facing the same issue? Any suggestions or fixes that worked for you?

Would really appreciate some help or a solution from the community or Samsung support.

Thanks in advance! πŸ™

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

We regret to hear about your experience with our product. Please believe that this is not a usual occurrence.

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concern.

Note: Before troubleshooting your device, you want to make sure that your cellphone is the only one having this problem on your WiFi connection. If all devices are having wifi issues, then you want to contact your internet provider as the issue is not with your device but most likely with your WiFi connection.

1. Navigate to the app's screen > Tap on Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Tap on the Wi-Fi network > Tap and hold the Wi-Fi network that you're having trouble with until the menu allows you to select Forget Network.

2. If the issue has not been resolved then restart the router and Mobile Device.

3. Update software: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install > Checking for software update > Software update available > Tap on Download > Downloading updates > Tap on Install now.
Note: Your phone will restart after the update is installed.

4.If the issue is still not been resolved, Reset the device:
IMPORTANT:
β€’ Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
β€’ Remember google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
β€’ If you do not remember it, then reset, (Forgot password) your google account.
β€’ For this: Open Gmail (https://accounts.google.com/servicelogin) > forgot password >Select ""try another way"" > Next > Enter a new password > Next.

Please follow the below steps to reset the device:
Settings > General Management > Reset > Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup > tap on Factory data reset (This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps)
