Turn off 5G

According to my phone's settings the power saving mode is supposed to turn 5g off, why isn't it doing so

5g network consumes higher battery power than 4g, so that's why it gets turned off.

Yes, that's what it's supposed to do but check the network even after I've enabled it. It isn't changing to 4g. I mean, kind of a good thing that my area has decent 5g connectivity but phone should turn it off and connect to 4g when I've enabled the setting

You should disable this first before switching on power saving mode.

Yes, it did but It's not my first attempt at turning it off (suffering from success) and I'm also commuting right now, so it could also shift due to the connectivity at that area

I got it now, but after that is it switched back to 5g again .
