call automatically putting on hold while attending a in coming call or outgoing

A20 When attending or making a call the device is automatically putting the call to hold, in order to continue the call i need to cut the call first and then call again to the same number 
This same problem happen when a person attending an outgoing call from my device

clear the data of the call app and restart the mobile once and check whether the issue continues or not.

If you need to turn off the screen sometimes by pressing the power button while on a call, then the proximity sensor is not working as expected. And that's why the hold button gets activated, in my case, I use sensors off, which sometimes trigger the call record button. If you are using a case or screen protector, check whether it is blocking the top thin bezel or not. If blocking, then remove those and try.

may be this problem occurred when you enable call forwarding one time check i show on image if enble to disble all
